Perfect Functioning, Quality First WXPI QC group won a number of honors

Recently, QC Group won the first prize of Hangzhou Excellent Quality Management Group in 2020; QC Group of the 4th Manufacturing Department won the first prize of Zhejiang Machinery Industry Excellent Quality Management Group.

The 2nd Manufacturing Department perfectly runs the QC Team:
Their project is To Improve the Outer Seal Installation One-time Offline Pass Rate of a Certain Part. After 35 team activities with the analysis tools such as PDCA, DOE and so on, the QC team analyzed 13 end causes and found 2 major causes. They inspected the reasons, formulated and implemented action plans, verified the rationality and consolidated the effects. All these actions were deeply involved in the supplier-side process such as forging, grinding and so on. Through the improved data, the offline pass rate of installing the outer seal of the certain part has been increased from 89.78% to 99.8%, reaching the target. The improvement of the one-time offline pass rate not only reduces waste, but also effectively improves the production efficiency, the products quality and provides good experience for the improvement of other products, so as to provide a basis for the continuous improvement of the enterprise. It is expected to save a total manufacturing cost of about 300,000 yuan.
The QC Team from the 4th Manufacturing Department:
Their project is To Eliminate The Waste of Double-end Grinding for Inner Rings. There are often traces of machining found on the large end surface in the inner ring end surface grinding process, which seriously restricts the improvement of products quality. After the verification of material surplus and other aspects through activities in accordance with PDCA, DOE and other methods, the team finally found the cause and the solution. Through the investigation of related products, the material waste rate decreased from 80% to 0. In addition, the unnecessary process resulted from the waste of two-end surfaces is reduced, lessening the cycle. It is expected that more than 200,000-yuan manufacturing cost could be saved every year.
